Privacy policy

This policy explains what Regentro collects when you use regentro.com, why we collect it, and what control you have. We have written it in plain language on purpose.

Who we are

regentro.com is operated by Caribranding, #11 Cipriani Blvd, Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. For anything privacy-related — a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion — contact hello@regentro.com and we will respond within 30 days.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Your first name and email address, when you download the free guide or ask for your quiz results.
• Your quiz answers — hair texture, where the loss is happening, how long it has been going on, styling history, scalp symptoms, family history, what you have tried, your goal, and your age band.
• Anything you write to us by email.

We do not ask for and do not want your payment details. Every purchase happens on the partner brand’s own site, under their privacy policy and their payment processing.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data — pages viewed, referring site, approximate location from your IP address, browser and device type, and how you move through the site.
• Campaign parameters (UTM tags) telling us which ad or article brought you here.
• Outbound clicks — which partner recommendation you clicked and from which page.

Sensitive information — read this part

Your quiz answers describe your hair and scalp. Depending on where you live, some of that may count as health-related information. We treat all of it as sensitive:

• We never sell it, and we never share it with a brand or advertiser as an individual record.
• We use it to build your result, to send you a routine that matches it, and — in aggregate, with no names attached — to understand what our readers need.
• We do not pass your quiz answers or symptom responses to advertising platforms. Conversion events we send to advertising platforms carry the fact that a lead happened, not what your answers were.

Your individual quiz answers stay on regentro.com. We do not sell them, we do not share them with the brands we link to, and we do not put them into advertising platforms. What reaches an ad platform is the bare fact that someone completed the quiz — never what they said about their scalp.

Why we use it

• To send you the guide you asked for, and your quiz results.
• To send occasional emails with education and product recommendations. You consent to this when you give us your address, and you can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
• To measure which content and which ads actually help people.
• To keep the site working, secure and fast.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors, each for one job:

• Klaviyo — email delivery and list management. Holds your name, email and quiz-derived profile properties.
• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate site analytics.
• Meta — advertising measurement. We send conversion events, including a hashed version of your email address, so Meta can tell whether an ad worked. Hashing means Meta receives a scrambled value, not your address in the clear.
• Vercel — hosting and delivery.

Partner brands you click through to are separate companies with their own policies. Once you land on their site, their rules apply, not ours.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage to keep the site working, to remember that you have already seen the guide offer, to hold your quiz progress so you can resume, and for the analytics and advertising measurement described above. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work, but your quiz progress will not survive a refresh.

We do not currently run advertising cookies. If that changes, visitors in the UK and EU will be asked to opt in first, and nothing beyond the cookies this site needs to function will be set until they do.

How long we keep it

Email subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you, and we clear addresses that have not opened anything in 24 months. Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Quiz responses are kept attached to your profile for as long as you are subscribed.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email hello@regentro.com and we will action it within 30 days. If you are in the UK, EU, California or another jurisdiction with statutory privacy rights, those rights apply in full, including the right to object to processing and to complain to your supervisory authority.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us their details, email us and we will delete the record.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell subscribers by email.
